The Continuum Art Resource Library exists to provide important information, texts, and links to resources for visual artists, scholars, educators, and collectors.
Books
The art technique books in our library are authoritative volumes by trusted authors – many of them reflect the methods and theories used by the same 19th century ateliers in which the artists featured on this site mastered their craft. Many are in the public domain. These links are either directly to digital files or to archive.org, which provides free access to digital books for download or online borrowing.
Other volumes feature important works, artists and architects who have been influential yet unheralded in general education and mass media and are little known outside today.
